Château de Vauclaire Meyrargues
AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence
The terroir: Bathed in sunlight, purified by the winds of the mistral, this 30 ha vineyard spreads across an arid and rocky terroir, which lends strength and character to its wines.
The history: The Sallier family have owned the property since the end of the XVIIIth century, and are now represented by Adeline, the mother, and her two children, Charlotte and Alexandre.
Their expertise: These three passionate individuals unite their ancestral expertise, sustainable farming methods and the most modern techniques to produce high quality wine.
• Discovering the history of the estate and the sandstone vineyard through a guided tour with the cellar master, with a tasting of 5 wines (€12/person by reservation).
• The rich and delicate wines including the 2015 Uldaric cuvee: a potent, quality red wine with spice and ripe red berry notes.
• The wine box in 3, 5 and 10 litres.
• The idyllic setting for organising all sorts of events.
Open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
